Once again Rollie, Rick & Sheila took care of business at the Crib Night. The winners were, high score Rollie Normandeau, 2nd place was Louise Wibe and the low score was, you guessed it, Bob Hart. A good time with lots of fun was had by all. The next crib night will take place on Feb. 19th and is a Valentine theme. Just a reminder for those of you who may have forgotten to pay the Legion dues for this year, now is the time. Fifty dollars a year is all it costs. Almost forty dollars goes back to Dominion Command to contribute to the funding of the Veterans hospital and much more. That only leaves this Legion with $10.00 per member to keep it going. New members are welcome to sign up at anytime. Please call 450-458-4882 for further information. Our Junior curling team representing the province is now playing at the Nationals. Writing this on a Sunday they have their first win under their belt. Here's hoping for more wins to come. Jack Crombie a longtime member of this Legion is being honoured this Saturday at Whitlock by Curling Quebec with a Lifetime Acheivement Award for all of his hard work over the years for the sport that Jack truly loves. This is your chance to "roast" Jack as this is the theme of the night. To reserve your seat or to get more information, please contact Marie at 450-458-5305. |
