In the consolation final, Team Morin built up a 5-1 lead after four ends and was leading 7-2 after seven but Team Duboyce managed to make four rocks count when Wayne came up to throw his last rock. He managed to knock one rock out and make it impossible for Tony’s team to score five points to at least tie the game and they shook hands. The box score from their game is shown below.

Rules

  • win = 3 points, loss = 0 points, tie = 1 point
  • eight ends to be played. In case of a tie no extra end is played
  • for games starting at 7 pm, an end can not be started after 8:50 pm and the score at that time is final
  • persons playing third are responsible for posting actual scores, not just wins/ties/losses
  • top four teams qualify for playoffs. In case of a tie in the standings, the win/loss/tie record of each team in games between the tied teams will be used to break the tie. If this still does not resolve the tie then the best differential in points scored versus points given up in all games will be used to break the tie.
