	General information about Mixed League curling

Mixed Curling is the recreational, social category of curling activities.

The season is divided into several competitions that go for five to six weeks at a time. In between these competitions, there are bonspiels that last a week or two.

Mixed Curling draws take place on Friday evenings whereas bonspiels take place during weekdays.

For each of the different competitions new teams are made up by the competition committee who take into account the experience level of each curler to ensure that all the teams are balanced.

The convenors for Mixed Curling are Jon Bazar and Jay de la Durantaye.

Double knock-out bonspiel:

eight ends to be played. In case of a tie a full extra end is played
persons playing third are responsible for posting wins/ties/losses (detailed scores are not important)

	The Gray Trophy. Duration: Mar. 2 - Apr. 6 , 2012.


	Congratulations to Peter Mansell and the rest of his rink (Richard Bray, Sharlene Dearling and Charles Merulla) for winning the 2011-2012 season Gray Trophy. On the final day of the round robin draws they earned a win against team Mason to put them ahead of Team Sewell in the standings.


	Rules

Round robin:

win = 3 points, loss = 1 points, tie = 2 point
