Information about Hudson Legion curling

The Hudson Legion Curling Club has been in existence since 1964, providing local curlers with some of the finest ice in the region. Over the years, our curlers have won numerous regional and national awards.

We boast a membership of over 150 active members – seniors during the day, our evening leagues and our junior program on the weekends. Our building is also used by over 300 Legion members as well as numerous community events throughout the year. Our demographics cover virtually all age segments – from teens, to parents, to active seniors. We also hold events annually which are open to all residents of the community..

Curling activities start in October and finish the following April. Most of the curling activities take place during weekdays, in the daytime as well as in the evenings. Certain special events take place on weekends. Members of the curling club have a choice of three levels of scheduled curling competition, from the casual and social Mixed curling, the more competitive House League and the Ladder, which is the season long competition for the overall club championship. In addition, there are opportunities each year to participate in curling events taking place outside the club, both at the recreational as well as highly competitive levels.

More information about the various curling activities is available on the pages specifically dedicated to the Mixed, House League and the Ladder competitions.
